How to Clean Your Laptop Safely Without Damaging the Screen or Keyboard
Regular cleaning improves cooling performance, prevents overheating, and helps your laptop last longer.
Before You Start
Turn off your laptop, unplug the charger, and disconnect all accessories before cleaning.
Cleaning the Screen
Use a clean microfiber cloth slightly dampened with screen cleaner. Never spray liquid directly onto the display.
Cleaning the Keyboard
Remove loose dust with compressed air before wiping the keys using a soft cloth with a small amount of isopropyl alcohol.
Cleaning Cooling Vents
Dust trapped inside cooling vents reduces airflow and causes overheating. Blow compressed air through the vents in short bursts.
